The NCCWE offers cutting edge Best Practices Resources to State, Tribal, and other publicly supported child welfare agencies to promote family-centered practices that support the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and youth while meeting the needs of their families.
Resources are provided in the following formats, free of charge:
- NCCWE Weekly Update: This electronic weekly newsletter containing six brief items related to child welfare is sent to subscribers via email each Wednesday.
- NCCWE Toolkits: Each web-based toolkit focuses on a different child welfare topic and includes an organizational self-study, provides information and resources, and highlights promising practices and policies.
- NCCWE Hot Topics: Our website offers a range of recent high quality family-centered practice and child welfare publications and resources, topically arranged.
- NCCWE Webcasts: Focusing on a wide range of family-centered practice and permanency planning related issues, these videos are broadcast and then archived on our website.
- NCCWE Webinars: Focusing on a wide range of safety, permanency, and well-being policy and practice issues, these live events are offered for those working, involved, or interested in child welfare (and are then archived on our website).
